  • Basic Chemistry I course is designed to acquaint students with basic concepts of Organic Chemistry like Classification and Nomenclature of Chemical compounds, various types of chemical bonds & their role in Biological system, Concept of acids, bases and buffers.

  • The learner should be able to understand the classification of chemical compounds, various bonds present in it and the concept of preparation of solutions, role of water as solvent & buffers.
